It depends what server your using for yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus to get the full pop3 service for access to Outlook,Incredimail, Thunderbird and others.

* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

If you have “yahoo.co.uk” address some users can get free pop forwarding see below.
Click “options” (top right) on your mail page>mail options>pop and forwarding>
Set up or edit pop & forwarding>type in the address you want to forward to and
click save.
* Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smpt.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 465.
Note: In order to be able to send emails from outlook and others through/to yahoo (pop3) you need to pay for a yahoo mail plus account.

Outgoing Mail server plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com use TSL port 465

You need to sign up for Yahoo Mail Plus at first to use POP service. Or you could use YPOPs! -don’t know whether it’s legal to use it or not-
Anyway, required informations are:

* Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)

* Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)

* Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the “@yahoo.com”)

* Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)

* Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password

Question by soz87: how do i find out my incoming email server etc?
im having my hair cut in less than an hour and iv found a photo of exactly what i want on a website, i want to email it to myself, its asking me for my incoming email server and giving me the options of pop3, imap or http.
its also askin for my outgoing mail (smtp) server.
how do i find these out and fast?
